That is an example of why the Ghost runner sucks.

The Angels had a speedy guy occupy as the GR and happened to put a speedy guy at the plate and bunt. After horrible attempts, it was a good bunt, and the play was close and with pressure.

-Pinch hitting JK for Swaggerty
-Not having Santana bunt because you want to roll the dice on a hit instead of using more of the bullpen if the inning ends in a tie

I would have loved to see Santana try to lay down a bunt, that was a horrible ab by him. I absolutely hate the ghost runner. U gotta earn your way on base yes it speeds up the game but thats not how baseball is supposed to play. No Daddy and they still score enough to beat us.
