I think JK is going to be a productive MLB player at some point. Unfortunately, it's looking l less and less likely that's going to be with the Ms. This season is probably his last chance.
This is why you and GL should never be GMs. You guys are beating a horse that's only dead, but fossilized.
He was rushed like crazy. He's only 23. He'll figure it out to some degree at the MLB level. Probably needs a change of scenery.
No. He won't. A lot of guys 23 and under figured it out. For instance, the guy your handle is named after.

He was rushed but then he was returned to AAA, then came back and failed, then was sent back to AAA, and now he is failing again. Literally nothing to indicate he will be a productive mlb hitter other than just repeating the top prospect argument which is a bit light given hundreds of top prospects have failed.

And a lot of guys don't figure out our until later. I'm not banking my career in it or anything, but I think he'll figure it out

Sure but the disconnect is the NONE of thim started this horrifically. If he was hitting .200-220 with close to a 700 OPS then sure by all means but it would be unprecedented in the history of baseball.

Why in the F is Santana DHing vs. Lamb v. a RH starter. Such idiots.

Lamb .850 vs. RH starters.

Santana .618 vs RH starters.

Most of them weren't thrown into MLB at 21-22 way before they were ready.

I would like a Mariner reporter to look into JK’s early years….few people are aware that he never played high school baseball….He has been handled differently….Played elite baseball camps and never got his jersey dirty. Finally powder boy is getting humbled and his world is upside down. Virtually no time spent starving in the minors……Why did Jerry not see he wasn’t ready for prime time last year instead of bringing him up at leadoff….Almost appears Jerry was trying to embarrass his stupid ass……. The trouble I see is Jerod has mental deficiencies either bi polar or worse. Just a complete failure and Jerry can’t hide from the scrutiny….The kid clearly wasn’t ready

If the M's are able to trade him, they may at least get something out of him. Perhaps a A or AA cannon fodder player. But for now, the trade market has dried up. No GM would even give up a bag of fungo balls for him. He's toast.

You're saying elite baseball camps are below the quality of highschool baseball? You really don't think they get their jerseys dirty?
