Maybe they should give Logan a week off and skip his next start
He is already at 132 innings with still almost 2 months left and 12 innings more that last season and no mention of limiting his innings. These jokers are such hypocrites.

That pitch wasn't anywhere near the target. You can't get by on stuff alone Logan. Got to add the command with it.
Maybe we should have packaged Logan, Marte, Arroyo, and Kelenic+ for Soto after all 😏
Padres have lost 4 in a row and scored 4 runs in their last 4 games. Scored and average of 1 run a game including getting shut out twice in a row.

Why not have Kirby and Gilbert share starts?

Exactly, adding a bat won't turn an offense around, but adding a starting pitcher can impact not only entire games but weigh heavily in the playoffs

Even my fav son, Josh Bell is struggling. To be far thought they have faced some damn good pitching.

I think offenses, lineups are built over the off season. It be interesting to analyze the impact of deadline trades for offenses. I'm always skeptical. But adding pitching could give you some bang for your buck, again be interesting to study it

Yes, your 1-3 starters are by far the most impactful roster spots in the playoffs.

Winker 0-2, both strikeouts, couldn't catch up to 92-94 MPH in the hitting zone, and in the 5th was too slow to get to two fly balls that every other LF in MLB catches. If there was a hockey plus/minus system in baseball he'd have probabky been a minus-four.
