JK vs. Zach Greinke
JK vs. Zach Greinke
I know we already have a JK thread going but this is so beyond belief that I felt it warranted its own thread.
Zach Greinke vs. Jarred Kelenic
JK 500 PAs .167/.246/.329/.575
ZG 600 PAs .225/.262/.336/.598
So JK will get sent down tomorrow. If he doesn't make it back to the Big leagues he will end his career as a worse hitter than a pitcher.

Re: JK vs. Zach Greinke
And there are several pitchers who have better career batting averages than JK, although not better OPSs.
If pitchers still batted, could you imagine how many of them would be outhitting JK this season? At least 25, maybe even closer to 50.

Fernando Valenzuala was a better hitter.
Re: JK vs. Zach Greinke
Higher BA but he never walked and only hit a few Homers so not better overall..

I was wondering where Earl Wilson was; why he wasn't on the list.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 4:08 pmIn the last 100 years there are 39 pitchers with at least 500 PA That have a higher OPS than Kelenic.

JK......had such high hopes......
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!
