Given a choice I'd probably take Josh Bell, Carlos Rodon and a Mitch Haniger QO than committing 8 years to a giant, but the Mariners aren't likely to be in on either Bell or Rodon either.
Agree on Haniger and Bell 100%.

I'm satisfied with Castillo, Ray, Gilbert, Kirby, Gonzales, and Flexen with Hancock, Miller, and Dollard waiting in the wings.

I'd be looking for another high leverage reliever to add to the bullpen. Can they really go 3 for 3 in years of domination? Maybe Boyd comes back and stays on?
I think every penny/prospect should be spent on bats. Boyd has a 4.96 ERA and a 1.3 WHIP. Antithesis of Elite. In the second half our pen has a 3.15 ERA and a 1.0 WHIP which is the best in baseball. He literally makes our pen worse.

Brandon Nimmo is the 6th most valuable OFer even higher WAR than Julio. If not Mitch and Judge he should be the OF target. LH bat as a bonus.

How about a trade for 26 yo Daulton Varso? He is a CF AND a C. Kills two stones with one bird. Murphy insurance and an OF bat.

Certainly should be more affordable than Judge. His agent is Borass and we would probably have to overpay the Mets above $20/yr or likely more

Offer Mitch 3 yr/$60 or something close and if he turns it down give him the QO. He will be 33 and 4 yrs would probably be a mistake

Mitch is 31 right now. A three year deal would cover his age 32, 33, and 34 seasons.

Brooke! On the bats. Especially for finding a big stick at 2B. And since their aren't any, that means you need to go out and get a SS. I will NEVER want Correa and his cheating ass. But Bogaerts, Swanson, or Turner yes. Otherwise, they may have to trade for one.

He will be 31 yo next April. Not old but not young for a FA. Pujols was 32 yo his first year with the Angels.
Why would the Astros break the bank for Judge if they wouldn't do it for Correa? And the Pujols contract was terrible for the Angels.
Agree. What is your best guess?
Please, the Padres will sign Judge
