Yep, at one time there were some people playing fantasy baseball, wanting the M's lineup a certain way so that their player would get more runs, not because they thought it would result in more wins.

I rember it was a long time ago, and there were people on the ST forum talking about runs a player had (not Ichiro).

It's because they don't need him, they have a solid bullpen without it's the exact opposite of what you claim dipoto does, hang on to players for no other reason than being stubborn
