Maybe he can actually get a hit of the clown car. No, I'm calling a HR. Kirby vs. a AAA pitcher. We can't lose this game.

He had a 5.72 ERA in Las Vegas so he isn't even a good AAA pitcher.
Martinez faced the Raniers twice this year with Kelenic in the Lineup. On May 27th he went 6 innings. Kelenic led off and was 4 for 4 in that game with a triple and a Home Run both off of Martinez. He faced them again on August 13th going 7 innings and Kelenic was 0-3.

Martinez also faced the M's at the big league level on June 30. He gave up 7 runs in 4.2 innings. We have to destroy this guy.

. Mariners 21-year-old rookie superstar Julio Rodríguez left tonight’s game with lower back tightness, furthering the saga that began earlier this week. As reported by Daniel Kramer of MLB.com, Rodríguez did not undergo an MRI when he first experienced the lower back tightness over the weekend in Anaheim, but is now scheduled to receive imaging tomorrow in Kansas City. When asked about Rodríguez after the game, Mariners manager Scott Servais labeled the young star’s back troubles as “concerning.”

It would be awesome if he could rake these last two weeks against all these AAA pitchers we will be facing. Maybe then we could trick someone into giving us something for him on the trade market in the off season.

It'd be foolish to do that. What do you think he's been down in AAA DOING after all?!!! He hasn't been down in Tacoma cleaning the roads. He's been down there DEVELOPING. Changing his approach, altering his swing and stance, becoming more discerning. Everyone has noticed it. The M's have maintained yrs of control on JK from both 21 and 22 now meaning M's still have 6 yrs of control over the player, 1 more option on him, so he won't be an FA until 2029.

And he's a total 5-tool player. He has speed, arm and offers elite defense in the corners, adequate in CF.

I want him on this team, playing RF next season. In the lineup everyday. I'm saying that now and will stand by it all offseason as long as he remains healthy. He's my guy. Haniger can go unless he comes up big here in the final -- hopefully -- month
