The M's have power RH hitters JRod, Suarez, and France. The LH/switch power hitters are Cal. Maybe Kelenic if he get his act together. I'd rather save the money for a LH/switch power hitter.
Bell
Why do you like Bell? It really perplexes me. He's had a few good periods in his career, but he's really streaky. I mean he's down to .190 and a 74 ops+ w/ SD

Whereas Abreu has been hitting .280/.830+ every yr since 2019. He's a machine
Before the trade he had a .877 OPS in 437 PAs. Even after the debacle in SD (Soto is only hitting .242 with them) he has the same OPS+ as Abreu, he is LH and is SIX years younger. Pujols started his dramatic decline right about Abreu's age...I would be fine with him on a one year deal but guessing he is offered at least two.

I guess the risk with Bell is that he continues to suck like Frazier did after being traded to SD and then to us but they are two totally different hitters.

See, I'm not worried about age. It's the track record for me. And Abreu is just a much more consistent hitter. Bell has serious holes in his approach

Maybe trade for Nootbaar. He's hit 14 hrs in about half a season. He's an average RF, about DMo's speed but a lefty.
MLBTR had an article about Nootbaar yesterday.

Sure, I can see that. Let's see how they do next season.

Forgot why he is relevant. They might trade him due to crowded OF? Thanks.
