World Series thread

I'm rooting for it to end ASAP so we can fire up the Hot Stove. Hopefully a Phillies sweep.

As much as I'd like to see the Phillies win (or more specifically, see the Astros lose) my prediction is Astros in 6.

The Phillies got lucky with Schwarber, but had their own big flop in Castellanos.

Schwarber was probably the one player I pushed for the M's to sign the most, and Castellanos and Story were the two I had nightmares about Dipoto signing and somehow the Phillies decided on Schwarber and Castellanos.

Big bad Alvarez 0 for 4. Too bad Ray had to groove one to him.

Even I know the words to your national anthem. What a bellend.

0-5 down turned into a 6-5 win for the Phillies - what is there not to like about Game 1 ?

Just watched the highlights. What a game! Go Phils. Three more.

Anyone see Castellanos who is supposed to be terrible defensively with the game saving catch?

It's a big deal here to flub the national anthem, it's done constantly, figure it's mostly a publicity stunt
