Would literally bet my life savings the M's won't give him a multi year 10+ mil deal. Especially after today.

Ya today might have changed my mind a bit lol. That’s what I get for waking up early. I could see us rolling with what we have in the outfield and using our surplus now for trade bait for a 2nd baseman or getting drury at this point.

I don't want him back.

He and Marco are the last remnants of loser Mariner franchises and I want to see them both go.

Let the young guys become the leaders of this thing like the Astros did with Altuve, etc.

Agreed, just stunning to me how attached fans are to current Mariners who did little to end the drought.

He did write a compelling letter to the fans last year... :) ;)

I don't think they traded for Teoscar to bring back ole one nut. I like Mitch, but someone else is going to pay him more than he is worth. He simply can't stay on the field and his long dry spells are frustrating. Once he seems to be heating up he gets hurt, then he is out for longer than any normal player would be, comes back and can't hit, then gets hot....and we repeat the cycle. Let it be someone else's problem.

When he is fully healthy, he brings a bat we need - I wouldn't be opposed to an incentive based contract reasonable to both sides. I'm not ready to fully trust TT or JK quite yet.....
