Rest of MLB go nuts if Seattle was given information like that
I think he was quietly protesting the suspension, then got injured and decided to just take the suspension. You don't think the team would know that?

Same thing, Cano was told before he was actually suspended that he would be and the information was passed on to the mariners. And so the mariners were able to adjust their roster accordingly before the suspension was imposed. The rest of baseball would go nuts if that was to happen.

The Mariners recievied insider information and then acted on it with a trade. If that happened it be a situation up there with the Astros in terms of cheating, Dipoto be fired, Mariners be sanctioned. And it's obvious here but not around baseball.

I am sure it was obvious around baseball how would anyone prove it. Its 1000x more logical than Jerry trading for a GG 2B and sticking him in CF.

So they signed Gordon to play second when cano7s suspension kicked in. Didn't they first try beckham because they felt they needed Gordon in center? How good was the planning in terms of knowing you would need a center fielder as much as a second baseman. . In terms of motivation, for the Dee trade there was the international slot money
