Here's Marlowe's month-by-month breakdown if anyone is interested. Pretty sure I didn't make any errors but please feel free to point out any. I double checked the HR total for September since it was unusually high and it is accurate.

He went on a tear the last few weeks. Got steak, or figured something out? Who knows. Time will tell. He'll get some chances with Seattle this year. He definitely improved throughout the year which is what you hope for.

They won't be that sporadic. Haggerty is the 5th OF, and he'll play mostly against lefties.
Sam put up 2.2 WAR and a .738 OPS in 201 PAs. JK put up -0.2 WAR and a .534 OPS in 181 PAs. F-ing ludicrous to put JK 4th and Sam 5th.
Most of Haggertys at was against lefties. They simply won't have that many. You will get diminished returns if he faces too many righties. And it's not JK, it's whoever earns the job or of JK, Trammell, Marlowe that should be getting those AB. F'ing follow what I've been saying.

Reason Haggerty gets fewer AB, he's not good as a lefty, and they won't face many lefties. Haggerty brings more value as a late inning pinch hitter against lefties, and punch runner than starting against righties. He's also a utility guy that should get some time in the infield as well
Sorry I lose my mind whenever I imagine JK getting any time at all...

Now Sam is a guy that should give up switch hitting. No way he would hit righties worse RHed than LHed.

Yep, when you are better as a lefty, I think it's fine, but when your better hand you only hit 20 %of the time, but worth it. Like Cal? Not a big deal he's not as good as a righty, because it's about 20 %of his AB.

Unfortunately, I think the 4th OF will be the defacto DH, so whoever wins that spot will get starts 75 % of games. If they get a true DH and 3rd OF, that changes things.

What was your source? Is that milb.com?

Also, I wanted K-Rate and BB-Rate, which is actually how I started doing this.

Arkins focused on K rate when he did his comparisons but I would like to see all of the guys that made their Major league debut the past 5 years that had about a .900 OPS in AAA and how they did their 1st 500 PAs.

It would take some digging to get that sample, but it's doable. It would just take some work.
