Do you want Moran or Marlowe or a trade?

I have Moran in my Contest pick. Marlowe needs more time in AAA. Only had 60 PAs and Kd 23 times. I would love a legit bat but then Stanton would have to mow his own lawn this summer. Can't have that.

That's not a problem. Stanton needs to move to Az.

Ha, ha I was watching the same story and was thinking about where to talk about it. But I kinda reflected on it in some thread where I Was basically" He was scratched from the opener and has not been seen since. I am not like he is 100% done but it sounds like he is gimpy. They also said 2nd-3rd hand or whatever before he tweaked his elbow he was not looking good on his feet. If he is will to rehab I would not mind having him hanging around in Az. and working out at the facility or whatever if there is mutual desire to try to aim for a June reintroduction.

He did have the lefty bat and it was a nice possible outcome that he was a 100-110 OPS+ guy that DH, 2B, 3B.

But really how much do we miss him if Colin Moran is a DH, 1B, 3B and have France slide to 2b or 3B. Moore plays well as a 2B or SS. Saurez could also slide over to SS he has played 217 games there. Even Haggerty plays a little biut at 2B and 3B. So, the M's really didn't actually need La Stella's position, or his bat.

I have my doubts about Colin Moran. He's a 5-year, fringe major leaguer that just isn't very good at anything. He spent most of last year at AAA and his numbers there basically show him as sort of an average AAA hitter and not much more, basically what you would expect from a fringy major leaguer. But maybe he'll be the best option at the bottom of the roster.

Good stuff Pharm! Thx. Maybe this opens the way for someone more athletic / better defensively like a Marlowe too.
We have enough backup infielders to cover with Hags and Dmo (if healthy).
Marlowe would have to wow though with his bat to break camp since Moran is an average major league bat (gulp).
They could still rotate that DH position and have Pollack and Teo park there some days sporting Marlowe in right, Julio center, and JK in left.
This is what Jerry and co. get tho for playing around with has-beans on the cheap.
