Where do we stand on JP Crawford?

5 for 27, no XBH's, slugging .185.

I was led to believe his hitting struggled last year due to multiple leg injuries.

It seems he's still swinging a limp noodle.

There seem to be no fixes for this either. We be stuck with Mr. Soggy Arm.

Evidently it wasn’t about getting the best player for the position….It was the best teammate …….. silly me

It's his shoulder that's soggy

I doubt he's even that well liked by other players given his woke pos attitudes.

Exactly.

If his teammates aren't holding him accountable for his lack of performance there's an issue.

Dude is making $11 million to stand at SS, hit for a shit OPS and talk about aliens on a mic. I'd be lighting his ass up every day to get out there a prove himself.

Yeah - his teammates should be snapping him with wet towels, or TPing his house or whatever. But that won't make him perform.

I place ALL of this on JD, and to some extent, Servias. They chose to keep him at SS and in the lineup every day. They chose not to upgrade the position. They believe in him despite a growing sample size that indicates he is never going to live up to the hype - or even be a middle-of-the-pack SS. They live in some sort of fantasy land where JP is an all star and they feel totally vindicated for their faith in his abilities.

Crawford Sucks.

Wow, zero mention of the game last night. Looked like Kirby was amazing and Julio on fire.

Yes - I saw that. I assumed there would be a separate thread for it which is why I didn't comment in this one.

JRod was hot! Caught trying to stretch a double to a triple, but he's definitely aggressive. And our rotation looks like it will be one of the best in the majors, especially as Logan and Kriby start coming into their own.

Why is that, just because he can't hit a baseball? You gonna love this LL article
