Kirby pitched more last year than double, the year prior. They are easing him in this year in hopes of not wanting to injure him. As long as we are winning and managing to stay healthy then I could care less about there formula for the starting rotation. It just better work in my opinion.

I highly doubt his arm is any different than if he would have thrown 130 innings in 2021....almost 2 years ago. Would LOVE to see that sCIeNcE.

Somewhere someone out there probably has a whole analysis sheet of data just waiting for that question to be asked to him.

Just think about it logically though. So the muscles, tendons and ligaments in the arm would some how be altered and different if he had thrown 130 innings in 2021 vs. 80 innings? I just conceptually can't grasp how the human anatomy would be impacted by what happened so long ago.

I mean that is EXACTLY why they have to basically start from scratch EVERY ST because the endurance all disappears over the winter but somehow they would have more based on 2 years ago? Nonsense.

They didn't say it was to save his arm, they said it was to save his energy

Yeah, I don't know what that means, it's the only thing I can find explaining it. But if it is about his elbow seems odd to describe it as energy

Why does old man Ray and Marco and older men Castillo and Gilbert have more energy. I swear they say stuff just thinking the typical fan is a mindless fool.
