GT 5/23/23. Mariners look to get past 23 wins, hopefully with 23 runs. Might need that with Marco pitching

X-rays say tTy doesn’t haven’t broken wrist, having been there most of time it takes MRI or radioactive type test to determine fracture. Significant swelling seems like a 10mday IL
As much as I like getting a runner on base, maybe it's time for France to stop turning his body into pitches and getting hit so much.

I know broadcasters and everyone like to marvel at how often he gets hit by pitches like it's some curse, but it's mostly on him. He never tries to get out of the way, in fact he sort of twists around and receives the ball. Maybe it's a point of pride or he likes to literally take one for the team, but it's time for him to start actually trying to get out of the way.

He's talked about it. Basically, he won't give up the zone coverage on the outer half of the plate. It's key to his approach.

Good night boys. Don't blow this one.
Pensioner.
Ha! I see I missed absolutely nothing. This offense gets shut down by a pitching staff with an ERA of 7 for 7 of 8 innings. lol

SS the guru of injury prognostication says France will be back tomorrow.  :?
“It is not fractured,” Servais said of the initial X-rays. “Obviously, it’s a contusion right there in the left wrist where he got smoked by the fastball from May. He’s gonna be sore. He’s really day to day. I probably wouldn’t expect him to be able to go tomorrow. Maybe the next day. We’ll just have to wait and see.”

I will bet you $1000 he won't be in the lineup Thursday.

Perhaps you are confused due to the time zones.
Maybe the next day.

He has a history of rushing back with F-d up wrist, having his swing messed up and hit like shit because of it but diarrhea mouth SS thinks he might be back in the lineup less than 48 hours later.

Oh and I thought SS babied these players. How about lighting a fire under their lazy asses to get back in the lineup and produce. Oh, but I got an owie on my wrist. You don't think Cal Ripken jr never took a ball off a wrist? How many god-damned games did he miss? Get out there and win some damn baseball games, it's what you're getting paid to do, not sitting around rubbing your stupid wrist
