ESPN's top 50 prospects

Bryce Miller, Cole Young make the top 50. Harry Ford in the 50-60 range.
That's fun.

Gabriel Gonzales and Brian Woo aren’t far behind, and Celestin will be there soon

Re: ESPN's top 50 prospects
Woo's 4.11 ERA in '22 probably didn't help his cause in jumping on lists. If he continues being dominant in AA he'll likely jump to top-100 by season's end.
Clase is in a very similar boat. If he continues hitting for a 1.000 OPS through the year he'll rise in a big way.

Clase, Baby Jordan, Prelander, are some of those names in the 10-20 range prospects that I am really keen on.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 6:20 pmWoo's 4.11 ERA in '22 probably didn't help his cause in jumping on lists. Also, does anybody else wish Flex, and Ray had managed to get hurt/blown up in ST and Seattle was forced to push Miller out there and perhaps have another extra 1st?
This Miller has either the best or 2nd best action fastball in the game has me pretty lofty on him being on the Kirby path!

Re: ESPN's top 50 prospects
Yup, they should be going after that extra 1 every year right now with the kind of pitching tree this org has growing. It's crazy. We're just pumping 'em out one after another. After Woo, you've got Hancock possibly, after that you've got Ford or Izzi, we'll see.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 5:05 amAlso, does anybody else wish Flex, and Ray had managed to get hurt/blown up in ST and Seattle was forced to push Miller out there and perhaps have another extra 1st?

Re: ESPN's top 50 prospects
My plan from the off-season was to trade both and use the rookies as the 5th starter. Miller probably would have won the job out of ST.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 5:05 amAlso, does anybody else wish Flex, and Ray had managed to get hurt/blown up in ST and Seattle was forced to push Miller out there and perhaps have another extra 1st?

Isn't Caballero ranked or isn't he considered a prospect now?
Re: ESPN's top 50 prospects
Well given that he isn't a Top 30 Mariners prospect, doing the quick math seems he wouldn't make the ESPN top 50 which includes all 30 teams.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 6:57 pmIsn't Caballero ranked or isn't he considered a prospect now?
