Bring this MFer up! Cut bait with Wong! He can play 1st and 3rd and DH. Went 3-5 yesterday with his 15th Bomb and is now at .290/1.001.

He is almost 28 years old and has 2182 minor league ABs. 33 walks and only 40 Ks.

Ha, I thought you said it in the prospects thread. Forgot it was its own thread. Now that his OPS is over 1.000 it is just more insane that they keep running wong out there with so many better options. Same with Pollock.

I’d send Wong and Pollack packing and call up scheiner and Ford. Caballero might come back to earth, but at least he can provide better defense, speed and versatility, and will still probably hit better than .177

Moore should be up now and Wong long gone but I bet they send Sam down instead.

Is it Shiner or Shayner, or Skiner, or Skayner?

I wouldn’t miss Haggerty or Trammell.

Moore, Ford and Scheiner. Pick 3 of Haggs, Pollock, Trammell, Wong.

But if you look at his mlb stats, he’s only hit .167 with a .401 OPS.

So probably still a better option.
