He said it plain and simple, he has no answer to why they aren't hitting. So aren't Servais and the hitting coach supposed to figure that out and then pass it along or don-t they ever talk?

It was a TOTAL self own but he is setting expectations that they won't make any significant trade by the deadline. That is how he rolls. Just going to keep that sustainability train slowly rolling down the tracks.
