Feels like it has been 6 months since our season ended. Off season is finally here. I see Ben started and FA thread which is great but knowing Jerry that thread will only be filled with more La Stella and Pollock signings. lol We need a full Hot Stove league thread which includes all trade rumors and trades for all teams as well as FA news we want it all in one place. When the Mariners sign an FA or make a trade it obviously warrants a new thread so please start one if you are the first to hear about it. Thanks!

Ok this is the current story on MLB trade rumors for us. Let's see how long this sits here. Hopefully only until we offer Teo a QO.

Mets Claim Penn Murfee From Mariners

The Mariners announced several roster moves this afternoon, chief among them the departure of right-hander Penn Murfee, who was claimed off waivers by the Mets. In addition, the Mariners assigned three players outright to Triple-A: catcher Luis Torrens along with right-handers Easton McGee and Adam Oller.

I am sure people will say, "Yeah but you have to pay Seager that until 2031!" Guess what, all that crap is gone so we need to spend at least $30M to replace them and the Rangers get to have a top 5 player in the game on their team and we probably blow another $30M+ on more flotsam and jetsam.
