Our sports bar at Arizona Traditions has the lowest beer prices prices in Arizona. You might bring a sleeping bag
Hahahaha!

How much could I put in a ziploc on my checked bag?
Let me check with Ohtani’s interpreter

I heard he can hook you up with a used kidney if you need one.

Fire sale! Everything must go!

After a hot start, Rojas has really fallen off the wagon.

Always good to see a Mike Ford homer. Even if its with another team.

Mike Ford hates the M's.
With Cincy now, he's 2-3 tonight with 2 HR's. On the spring, he's .455 \ .471 \ .727

D-MO at 1st this game.
France is okay this spring, he's .324 \ .400 \ .841 but not showing any power thus far.

Raley's 0-2, with a K. This spring, .100 \ .229 \ .100. Was he a Wong choice by JD? Certainly not carrying a Stella bat, for sure.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Just moronic it to let Ford walk to save $1.5M

Praying Raley proves ST stats are meaningless but not looking good at all.

That's awesome! You've got about 20 years on me, and I'm medicated for familial hypertension. It's complicated by the fact that I am a kidney donor, so I have to be super careful with the one I've got left.

I was totally kidding about the used kidney joke. I am actually teaching a unit on the ethics and economics of organ markets right now, and was jokingly thinking that Ohtani's interpreter would be reduced to selling a vital organ to cover the gambling debts.

But dang - getting halfway through your 8th decade without meds - impressive.

I am also hoping that Raley pans out. I was looking at his MLB stats, and last year was his best, by far: .249/.490/.823

But he was batting below the Mendoza line in 2021 and 2022. That should have been a red flag. But in each of those years he only had about 60 ABs.

Like you say, maybe he's just dinking around in spring training. Baseball-reference is projecting Raley will have a much better year than Ford. Let's hope they're right.
