Not doing a poll, but since most of the trades and season acquisitions are done (minus mid-season stuff which won't be much) where do you see the M's 2024 record being?

I see 80 wins tops IF there aren't any major injuries.

They will be good enough to miss the playoffs by one game again.

I'll be an optimist and go with 89 wins.

This is a weird thread.....isn't there going to be a yearly win prediction thread that will be exactly this question?

80 wins? Come on. I know it's fun to be pessimistic but are they that much worse than last seasons team?

It's not about them being a bad team, it's a lack of effort at being a great team isn't it? Honestly, Dipoto seems pretty dialed in to his 88 wins. If I was in Vegas, seems to me it be hard to pass rolling with Dipoto and his 88 wins, like money in the bank

FO bad mojo carries into the season - Injury plagued season - 72 wins.

I hope you are right about the 72 wins, because that means to average 54% winning percentage over the last two seasons, we'd need 103 wins to get there. ... Or perhaps the FO are just cheap dirty liars and if we win 72 wins they will just begin aiming for 44%, because there are some teams that average 44% wins and end up winning it all one out of 20 seasons. That's the new new new mariners way. dominate the zone? no, dominate the narrative.

fucking losers.

Whatever. It's another Spring Training where the only thing that matters is staying healthy and getting the right 26-player team in the dugout and on the field to start the season.

They got their 2nd win of the spring today. Incredible, considering my next sentence.

Oh, and not fucking striking out 15 times like they did today. For fucksake, Eugenio and Teoscar are no longer here.

Control the zone, pisscakes! Don't be controlled; you batters got it assbackwards.

I thought they had like tee-shirts printed up with that on them? How did that fail?
