Win this tonight and the Spring Training Record will be 15-13
What's that in percentage terms?
.536
We will all be happy with that, so we are told.

Just got my new debit card a few days ago right before the season. Has to be a sign from the baseball Gods. lolmostonmike wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 6:44 pmWin this tonight and the Spring Training Record will be 15-13

Sucks most of our starters have been striking out a ton lately. Need to get that under control.

Dylan Moore gaming a good spring. Must be because he had lunch near me, and I didn’t bother him for a picture, I just snapped one like a creepier instead.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Overall they look pretty good. Just a middle of the order bat or two behind the clear contenders imo.
I'm happy to see Hancock get a chance to show what he can do. He was ahead of even Gilbert and Kirby on many of the prospect lists a few years ago before his injury.
The two I'm most concerned about are Raley and Garver. I'd still prefer Tom Murphy+Mike Ford for 1/3 the cost. At least Murphy could actually be the backup catcher so we wouldn't have to waste a roster spot on Seby. Raley is only a problem because he costs money and they'll give those types too long of a leash. Taylor Trammell outperformed him, but because Raley is owed millions, they'll cut Trammell.
I think the organization would be better off if they didn't just let Trammell go to another team as a DFA claim. It's a shame that having a third catcher on the roster forces him out.
As much roster shuffling as they did, the Yankees probably improved as much as we did just by adding Juan Soto.
The biggest obstacle, imo, is that the other wild card teams improved. Yankees, even Boston will be pushing for the wild card, I don't think it's as easy of a path to the wild card spots this season. All of the AL East teams could push us out.
Should be another competitive season, look like a team that will come up just short of the wild card spot again imo.
Haniger seems most likely to outperform projections.
