Contingency plans for position player injuries

Post by D-train » Wed Mar 27, 2024 3:52 pm

If Cal gets injured the Garver would need to catch and Haniger to DH
If France then Raley at 1B
If Polonco then Moore
If JP then Moore
Platoon at 3B so good there
If Raley or Canzone then the other guy plays every day
If Haniger then Raley and Canzone in the corners every day
If Julio we are Fucked. lol Raley can play CF but the season is over so who cares.

What minor league guys would be in line to get called up? I would think Marlow might get playing time again if one of the OF went down. Must be some others.

Hopefully that helps him keep up with the fast WRs in the NFL. He was slower than fatty France! lol

Still think moving France to 3b and having Ford play first would have given us a stronger lineup than what we’ve got

Especially since France has trimmed down and is presumably more athletic....Would have been a few million cheaper too.
