A Small Rant

Post by AZOldDawg » Sun Apr 14, 2024 4:50 am

When the guys we gave up are out performing the guys we picked up by about a 2:1 ratio coupled with our strikeouts going up it begs the question “Why do Jerry and Scott still have jobs?” Money talks and bullshit walks Mr Stanton

The good news is, if they keep playing this way, it might actually start to threaten the profits.

The worst place to be for a sports team, as a fan, is mediocre but profitable. If they bounce back and creep a couple games away from a wildcard all season... Nothing will change, again.

Last season's team finished 50-32 a .610 winning % and a 99 win pace and Jerry felt compelled to shuffle the deck chairs like he does EVERY off season and here we are again. Same shit start different year.

There are more than a couple issues with this team. I’m starting to wonder if you speak out your gone. Why would you let your backup catcher go. By most every article he was well liked and yet we downgraded. Your third basemen was a gold glove and a well respected teammate. There are more than enough issues with this team that point to both Jerry and Scott. I don’t expect John to fix it. It a success to him.

Nothing will change with this organization. Too many seattle "fans" don't care enough to hit Stantons wallet.

and those same mothers and fathers would do right by little Susie and Jimmy when they ask..."can we go to the Mariners game today mom and dad!"

"Sorry kids, mommy and daddy don't need CPS stopping by to take you away from us"

If being a fan is contributing to the issue then stop being a fan. Seems funny to me to watch the games on television, attend spring training and then complain about someone actually going to a game as being the problem.
