I agree. It's early in the season, but it would send a message - "we are here, and we are competitive".

Look, I complain as much as the next guy here, but I really am trying to get behind this team. Our starting pitching has been elite, our bullpen has been good, our defense is average and our hitting has been streaky. I would like to see us have a better strategy at the plate (or any strategy, really, beside swing for the fences at everything). But we're neck and neck with WS defending Rangers. We are up 3 on the Angels, 4 on the A's and 6 on the Asstros. There are some positives here, guys.

Hopefully we don't put guys like Garver on a long leash - if he's Pollock two point oh, then cut our losses and move on.

How in the FUCK did Garver post an .870 OPS lasts season. If the new guys were just with 100 points of last season's OPS we would have a five game lead in 1st right.

Yep Edgar was the last best coach we had. Guys just choose horrible coaching now except pitching. Garver omg this guy can't even try and get going. Getting closer to under 100 embarrassing just to hit. Alright let's go bullpen.
