FUCK YEAH! ALL M's SUCK! ALL M's HAVE ALWAYS SUCKED! ALL M's WILL ALWAYS SUCK! FUCK YEAH! PROVE ME WRONG!!!
Ok, just had to get PARAQUOTING of Seth outta the way. Bitter pill to swallow every day. Was going to put him in the thread title but, well, not.
Mariners, from upper management, through Dipoto and Servais, coaches, minor league personnel and ALL players need to read "The Little Engine That Could". "I Think I Can" needs to become the Mantra of this organization from here on out.
Has "Control the Fucking Zone" worked? Nope. Has "Driveline" worked? Bwaa Ha Ha No No No. Do Dipoto and/or Servais raise expectations and accountability? Don't see it. Are Jerry and Scott accountable? I think if the team is profitable both appear peachy-keen safe....smhs.
Something has to change. This trainwreck of a team and its management/ownership is getting old. I think it can be better.
So, I propose reading this book daily and believing in its simple little message that has propelled millions of children to have a foundation of a better attitude and overcoming impossible odds and learning to snatch victory out of a habit of defeat.
Line-ups sometime tomorrow. Woo Woo Woo Woo ~ I Think I Can I Think I Can I Think I Can....................
