He's had a very good career and after a shaky 2023, in 2024 he's having his best season with a WHIP of...get this...0.800.

And Clase is pretty much another Charles Gipson. GREAT TRADE!!!

Now let's go get Guerrero and Chisholm/Rooker/Robert.

2.70 ERA. Three wins and zero losses this season.

Bubble gum stats look promising. But he’s a definite rental as he is a FA in 2025.

Misleading ERA, he's been dominant. He's had 3 games where he's given up 2 runs, and given up 3 runs total in his other 26 games.

Nice get on a solid, strikeout reliever.

We all like Clase but we have outfielders down on the farm, plus, I think one or two of our highly touted infielders will ultimately peg into the OF mix.
As far as the catcher, Jacob Sharp goes, I like my catchers to be taller than a 5'7" Smurf. His low 18% caught stealing rate tells me he's not tall enough to throw it over the pitcher's mound to get it to 2nd.

And, unless there's more to the deal that we know yet, no pitchers go to the Blue Jays, so we still have Hancock, Evans and/or Morales that are trade bait for another thumper.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!
