Seems like all the news sites are picking it up but they are just referencing the original Rosenthal article in the Athletic. I haven't found anything official yet.

So i guess not having a post game show might have meant something. Has wilson been preparing to manage? That seems pretty wild. Tossing something to fans?

It doesn't look like we need to wait for Walter Cronkite for the official flash. Although Rosenthal is quoting the NY Times who is quoting Rosenthal

Yep. I am seeing that Wilson is the permanent replacement. That would be wild to go with another rookie manager.

The New York Times owns the Athletic. Rosenthal says he has a source who was briefed on the plans. Whatever that means.

Cheers and I guess they won't put their name to a story as brutal as a sacking without being quite sure.
