9/2 GT - Like Oakland...the end is near.

Oakland Coliseum expires at the end of this season and the team is moving to Vegas. Fans must be so pissed.
BUT, including the teams years in Philly, in 124 seasons they've been to the playoffs 29 times and won 9 championships.
Just in Oakland 57 seasons they've got to the playoffs 21 times, and won 4 championships.

Our beloved Mariners? Well, we Seattle fans know what is to lose a team i.e. the Supersonics for sure, but,
in 48 seasons the Mariners have been to the playoffs a total of, wait for it.......5 TIMES! and ZERO (0) appearances in the World Series.
We are considered by some the worst run professional franchise in all of sports. Sad.

Barring a complete miracle i.e. these below average ball players learn how to score runs and a complete collapse by Houston, our 2024 season is over.
At this point your record pretty much tells you who you are as a team.
Mariners = are a .500 ball club and imho only sniffing the division because Houston and Texas faltered at the beginning of the season. Our starting pitching is above average. What a Fking waste of talent.

Houston is an above average offense and have good enough pitching to keep them in games. They deserve to win the divison and move on. With that said, I hate Houston with a passion and they can eat a bag of dicks for all I care. The magic midget should join the cast of Lord of the Rings!

I use Oakland as an example because they have always like the Mariners had to work with limited resources and yet because of good managment have produced results time after time. So what is the issue 800 miles north?!?!?!?!

This will no doubt be my last run of gamethreads which is like the Mariners a sad scene. I'm 2-5 because of these weak ass bitches.
However, I enjoy the forum, most of you are decent human beings, and a few I consider friends. Also a few of you should seek therapy asap. :D

Here are the expected lineups.....I'm going grocery shopping so if the real ones come out please post for me fellas. Thanks.

Logan's not going to reach 10 wins. Might not even reach 8. On most teams he would be on pace for 15-20 wins. Just a total effed up joke.

I expected to see something like: M's Labor to score, A's(S) GT. Or some such.

This is not getting easier. Their pitcher has a 1.55 ERA in has last 5 starts. Their offense has heated up and now Bleday 127 OPS+ age 26, and Butler 135 OPS+ age 23, joining Rooker 171 OPS+ and their catcher Shea L has 23 bombs and a 106 OPS+. The A's are 29-21 over their last 50 games, The M's 22-28!
