The A's will play at the Home of the Sacramento River Cats from 2025 to 2027 before moving to Vegas in 2028.

They say the park has a current capacity just over 14K. That is a pretty big MILB park.

I bring this up because that park averages 5.77 runs per game Per team! 2nd highest of among all 11 minors full season leagues.

Next year they add a Coor's Field level venue for 7 road games vs. Oakland's #5 best pitcher's park for those road games.

I mean, Oakland was kinda known for having a lot of foul territory with on-field BPs and all but look at how tiny their Sacramento foul territory is.

Why would it take 4 years to design and build a new baseball facility?

It is not like they are charting a course to Mars.
