Speaking of Salary Dumps. JK benched. Hasn't played since the 9th. I need him to get back in there to get his OPS down from .684 to .657. lol

Jerry's best trade of the off season is a trade for two guys that are now recovering from Tommy John Surgery.

Through his first six games of September, Kelenic has gone 5-for-19 with two home runs, two walks, five RBI, four runs and one stolen base.
So they benched him?

I mean, they're going to non-tender Rojas, Urias... they won't pick up Polanco's option.

So that's $16 million and they're pretty much back to where they're at right now with the arb increases.

I've heard the plan is to simply hand Cole Young the starting 2B spot. To be fair, he's an elite defender so it would be tough for him to do worse than Polanco's -0.2 fWAR.

They will almost assuredly attach decent prospects to either Haniger or Garver in one trade to move the money.

I expect a small bump in payroll this year. The FO know they've had a rough year PR wise... I could see them bumping it to like $165-$170 million.

That assumes ownership gives a shit about bad PR. The PR was horrible at the end of last season and that got us the Mitches, Polanco, Urias, Kowar and Seby.

He hasn't played since the 9th. People in Atlanta seem surprised that they are sitting him against righty starters.

I assume the writer of that article fucked up and wrote Kelenic instead of Laureano.

Maybe it's Cal that's traded rather than Ford
