I'm so optimistic about this group of players that I just placed a $2000 bet that they win the World Series.

Raley with double the bWAR as Kirby and he hasn't even played close to full time.

Raley's been a great pick up, good work Dipoto.
Same for Robles.
Kirby has a 4.10 ERA on the Road. If that was his full season stats it would rank 43rd out of 57 qualified SP...
If their home park wasn't T-Mobile, I'm not sure how great quite a few of these pitchers are...
Overall our pitching staff is ranked 20th in ERA in Away games.

About 2 years to the day that Cal put us in the playoffs and you can make $40k on a $5 bet for them to win the WS..and Jerry still has a job. Pathetic.
