An interesting experiment... maybe

So, I just completed a Yahoo Fantasy Baseball draft, and I drafted nothing but Mariner players. I really, REALLY don't expect to win my league, but it will be interesting to see how the season shakes out. Drafting nothing but Mariners wasn't too tough, for the most part I just went with their rankings in order. I picked 8th, so snagging Julio, who is ranked 15th was pretty easy. Logan was the next highest ranked player at 29th, and I got him with the 16th pick. There was only one time when I had to take a detour from my strategy was when I took Cal ahead of Kirby since I figured with his injury I could pick him up later, which I did.

I’m debating trying a free fantasy baseball just for kicks. Do you just do a lineup once a week or something? I’ve done fantasy Football a zillion times but I’m afraid I might forget if you need to do something everyday.

Welcome to the forum.
If you're in need of offense, I'm a afraid a bottom finish in the league is probably on its way.
Wish I had more faith, but Jerry Dipoto has sucked it out of me at this point.

You can actually miss days. On Yahoo, there is a button to hit where you set your lineup for 7 days....though starting pitchers need to be done every 3days to keep the starters in and out of the lineup based on their starts.

Hi Lonnie!
It's been a while. I was thinking about those days when you had "MarinerCentral" going. Good times.
How's your golf game?

Hey Sully! I was wondering if I would run into any of the old crew here! The golf game, unfortunately, has been shelved for the last few years. I live way up in the mountains now with the nearest golf course a couple of hours away!

In 2001 I had a fantasy team with Ichiro, Edgar, Cameron, Boone, Wilson, Garcia, Moyer, and Kaz Sazaki on it. I also managed to pick up a rookie for third base shortly after the season started by the name of Albert Pujols. Needless to say I won the league going away.

The one thing I disliked about Fantasy Baseball was rooting for opposing players, sometimes in a game against your real life favorite team. So if you're a Mariner fan you're cheering on the players you want to cheer on anyways. I lived in Colorado for 7 years, finished school there. Whereabouts are you? I don't think I could live anywhere I couldn't play golf.
