According to information gathered by PFN’s Tony Pauline, Cole Thompson, and Matt Cannata, we have come to understand that the Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins have all expressed interest in acquiring Clowney’s services. There are likely others and we will update the post as we uncover these teams.

One important note is that Clowney has expressed his desire to play for a contender rather than be part of a rebuild. While this doesn’t preclude a rebuilding team such as the Dolphins from acquiring him, it does present a major hurdle.
Only one of those teams is close to being called a contender.

That's good news. As long as they don't give up a 1st round pick or multiple draft picks of equivalent value.

Nobody. And I'd sign him to an extension + let Reed walk. He's a better, more complete player than Clarke and DT's are easier to replace in the draft/in veteran f/a.

1 year of Clowney isn't worth a 1st round pick.

Clowney seems like a guy that PC could work his magic on to get him closer to his max potential imo.

I disagree with that. Clowney is not better than Clark. He sure in the hell isn't more complete. Clark has more sacks and not even close to the injury history of Clowney. And a DT that registered 10.5 sacks from the interior isn't easy to find more or less replace.

Clowney was the #1 overall pick in the draft and now he isn't worth a low round 1st ? That makes no sense.

I'd rather take my chances with someone like Collier for 3 inexpensive years. We already have a decent idea of what Clowney can bring. He's good when healthy, but i doubt he adds enough to make it worth it.

You don't know what Clowney can do in this system. Chris Clemons had 3 and 4 sacks respectively before he was a Hawk. Collier is a rookie, unproven and only 3 years younger than Clowney.. He will add more than enough to make it worth a late round first.
