Yeah! I had Luke Wypler and Oluse Oluwatimi as my last 2 Centers on the board before a severe dropoff!!! So glad we are drafting for future depth.

4 of the last 5 picks were on my watch list. Fuggin' Morris threw me, so he better be good.

Re: Day 3 targets
I wonder if we go Kenny McIntosh with one of the last two picks. For a while, he was viewed as the second best RB in the draft by some people, not sure why he fell off the edge of the world. Excellent receiver, could be a 3rd down back.

It's possible for both of you to be right.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:49 pmdoubt it. People here underestimate Evan Brown. Brown is GOOD. Olu Olu is going to take the Kevin Mawae route and sit for a year or two, then become a HOFer.
I tend to think Olu is going to be starting pretty early on.
He's 23. He's played in 3 different programs. Michigan is Harbaugh with a pro-style offense.
He graduated college 2 years ago.
I listened to the media interview -
the guy is confident to the point he won't play the ridiculous cliche answers games with the reporters.
He said he called the run offense and pass offense at Michagan. (protections I guess is what this means?)

Re: Day 3 targets
I don't think he'll beat Brown out year 1, but you don't know 'til you see them all play. Could happen. At least we now have some depth and competition at C and RG.
Brown and Haynes are good gate keepers - if the rookies beat them out, that's gravy.

Re: Day 3 targets
Well unless we resign Brown it is impossible for SA to be right. Maybe he misunderstood what I said. When I say next season I mean 2024. 2023 is THIS season.trharder wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 7:59 pmIt's possible for both of you to be right.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:49 pmdoubt it.
