Up 24 at halftime, win by a TD
Up 24 at halftime, win by a TD
Don't get me wrong, I like the win, but the SEA D had no answer for Schaub (460 yards) and Jones (152 yards).
This was ATL! What are they going to do against the Niners? Or the Vikings? Wow.

It's funny, it is almost as if one team got a lead and did nothing on offense, deciding instead to put the defense on the field the entire third quarter against a desperate offense playing catch up. I remember losing a few games that way over the years, we just used to wait for the 4th quarter. We can keep complaining about it, and I'm sure I will, but it won't change.
I do wonder if this is why Pete tries so hard to keep the game close in the first half? Haha

The hosts on KJR are suggesting that Carroll purposely tanked the 2nd half because he didn't want to get his friend Dan Quinn fired. If that's true, i wonder how the players felt about being put in a position to fail. I'd bet that Chris Carson wasn't thrilled with having to take hand-offs and run directly into a stacked defensive front.

If there's even a shred of truth in that, Carroll should be punted.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 2:57 pmThe hosts on KJR are suggesting that Carroll purposely tanked the 2nd half because he didn't want to get his friend Dan Quinn fired. The altrenative explanation would be that the coordinators sat on their hands during the half-time break while Atlanta's made adjustments and/or the players lost their focus and passion with 30 minutes left to play. But again, that comes back to Carroll and his influence over his coaches and players.

PC took Brown out to rest him which set the tone for the second half.

Man, I hope not. If anything Carroll should have ran up the score to get him fired so he could rehire him to run our defense.douche wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 3:01 pmIf there's even a shred of truth in that, Carroll should be punted.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 2:57 pmThe hosts on KJR are suggesting that Carroll purposely tanked the 2nd half because he didn't want to get his friend Dan Quinn fired.
