Is it me or does Indy, Tennessee and Jacksonville all seem like the same team. lol Maybe I am just getting old but I can't keep them straight half the time.
So many dog games this week. Indy at Carolina, Bucs-Houston, Commies-Pats, Giants-Faders.

How the f... is someone supposed to pick winners with those pigs?

DT, is only missing one TNF pick window just like getting a zero for a wrong pick, and you can still weight all your other picks for Sunday and Monday?
When you miss Thursday they jack you the 14 points.

They deduct points or they just don't let you pick a 14-point game this week?

Go slow, remember you are explaining this to a Coug.

The problem is? Those two teams are what most wanted Seattle to be. Draft a QB of the future. Yuck. That was shit football.

I thought Levis looked more poised than someone starting only his second NFL game, but every time I see his snotty Eddie Haskell face, I want to punch it.
Levis may be just fine, but that is the type of offense you are stuck with when you have to start a guy like that. Levis was the 33rd pick in the draft, and the guy threw two potential INTs on what they tried to have be the game winning drive. After getting a do over, he promptly threw another. Many wanted Anthony Richardson, who started not that many more games at College QB than I have, and is more athlete than QB. He was injured twice already, if not three times, and has been shut down. Mostly because he is a LB, not a QB. Bryce Young makes no sense to me....he is a Russell Wilson type....good athlete but too short. I thought the only guy were taking with a pick that he would be taken was Stroud, and after a pretty decent start to his rookie season he looks average at best right now. It is HARD to play QB in this league.

Everyone thinks we are just going to draft a guy and not have a drop off. I don't think that is going to be the case and I also believe there is ZERO reason to believe that Geno is going to give us a home town discount. There is SO MUCH bad QB play around the league, someone is going to pay him more than we are willing to. Second and third year guys that still don't get it and may never get it are all over the place. If Geno leads this team to the playoffs again? Next year will be his last here, IMO, unless we over pay.

I remember when Justin Fields was pushing Trevor Lawrence in the Elite 11 going into college. I remember when DTR was one of Trent Dilfer's favorites on Elite 11. These guys that have what it takes don't always do what it takes, and often times don't amount to much. DTR spent like eight years in college and still isn't NFL ready.

I think it is just as likely that Geno signs elsewhere and we are trying to win with Drew Lock than it is we draft then next greatest thing and continue to win football games. Josh Allen is one of the best in the game, and struggles to win playoff games. As much as I get pissed watching Geno flounder? I am mostly pissed at the OC for trying to make him Dan Marino instead of letting the run game and defense win ball games for us. I don't know that there is a better option out there, or if there is one available where we will be drafting.

It kind of makes sense. I mean, is it really fair to have someone not pick games and then just take away the lowest possible point total from them? I mean, miss the Thursday games over Thanksgiving, and only lose the 1, 2 and 3 point options?

Yep totally fair. I usually make all my picks on Wednesdays but got preoccupied because I had to head up to the office for a presentation. The guy that I presented to is Head of Commercial operations and isn't listed here for some reason but guessing he makes about the same as these people. I almost puked when I saw what the head of HR makes.

The Esq. after an attorney's name tells me everything I need to know about that person. Like when someone who gets a PhD in Basket Weaving insists on being called Doctor. Looks like Susie wanted the highest salary also. I don't want to denigrate one of your corporate bigwigs lol (I'm all about the love), but I'll bet she's a wrinkled old rug-muncher who keeps a strap-on in her bottom desk drawer.

I didn't see the game, but just took a look at the box score. 17 carries for Derrick Henry vs 39 passes for Levis. That's worse than the Seahawks last week. You have Derrick Henry, you gotta give him the ball.

The thing with rookie QBs is they often go to shit teams. That's Bryce Young's biggest problem, I think, and why Brock Purdy looks so good. So, if the Seahawks were to put a rookie QB out there, they'd probably do pretty well (assuming the QB they drafted was actually decent). But man, the odds of a QB being a star vs odds of them sucking are pretty scary. Even among the ones regarded as good, quite a few have a decent season, then fall off the cliff, or take a couple years to 'get it'. For every Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes, there are 3 or 4 Zach Wilsons, Trey Lances, Kyle Trasks, and Daniel Jones.

It was a bit of a slog, and the Steelers loaded the box and doubled D Hop. I also think a lot of those stats were skewed by the two minute offense. But yes, the Titans were a bit overly excited about their new shiny toy and forgot about King Henry. The word in the Fantasy community is that Henry can’t handle the load he used to. Hard to say, but Spears is a great change of pace. It seems they could have helped the rookie QB out a lot more in the run game.
