Justin Fields interest
Justin Fields interest
As things are playing out, how much of any would you be willing to take a flyer on Fields? As the teams continue to get a free agent QB, I can’t help but wonder if with the right coaching, could make him a better field general. Chicago had a horrible line, not much quality at the WR spot and RB. I’d do a 3rd and 5th for him. I just don’t see the Bears getting much more than that for him.

If he wouldn't cost more than a 5th rounder I'd consider it.

Good to ask why Chicago isn't interested in him???

Re: Justin Fields interest
Chicago treated him like a RB two years ago and then tried to make him not run at all this year. I am not sold on Fields, but what Chicago does should have zero baring on anything NFL player related. They are a real bad franchise.

Not a big fan of his. He's not much of a passer and you've invested at wideout.
Re: Justin Fields interest
At this stage he's cheap enough that he's really good value, and i actually still think he could have a decent career for a team like the Giants or Browns who are NOT heavily invested at receiver. Or Carolina even, though that would take some serious humility to give up on Young so early (as i think they should!) I would include New England but they can draft QB at 3. Had been some conjecture their roster was so bad they'd be better off trading out to restock before bringing in the next rookie QB, but the Brissett signing screams mentor/bridge role for the #3 pick to me.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 1:36 amNot a big fan of his. I would be more interested in Huntley. Although he would cost more.
