Re: Annual NFL Draft contest
Other than the Seahawks, the name of the team drafting at a particular position is irrelevant, correct? Seems like everyone is including the team names including trades they might make. Come on people, get with the program!

How about character issues57reasons wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 2:01 amfortunately for Hawks, he's seems to have slid to 3rd or even 4th round in many mocks lately, thanks to his drinking/driving incident.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 4:56 pmI could see them trading back and taking Sweat in the late 20s or early 30s.
He could potentially be a huge piece to MM's defensive rebuild here, in more ways than one!
Is there any evidence he fits mcdonald's style of defense?

Re: Annual NFL Draft contest
He fits the profile of a 3-4 nose tackle. Other than the DUI were there concerns about his character? I would be more concerned about athleticism and durability for someone carrying 360+ lbs.

Looks good but you can give your self a chance for extra points if you pick a position group other than QB.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 10:14 pm1. QB-Caleb Williams - Chicago
2. QB-Jayden Daniels - Washington
3. QB-Drake Maye -New England

5. TRADE! QB-J.J. McCarthy - Minnesota
6. WR-Malik Nabers - New York Giants
7. OL-Joe Alt - Tennessee
8. DE-Dallas Turner - Atlanta
9. OL-Taliese Fuaga - Chicago
10. WR-Rome Odunze - New York Jets
11. TRADE! OL-Olumuyiwa Fashanu - Los Angeles Chargers
12. TRADE! CB-Terrion Arnold - Philadelphia
13. OL-Troy Fuaga- Las Vegas
14. OL-JC Latham -New Orleans
15. TE-Brock Bowers - Indianapolis
16. QB-Michael Penix Jr. - Seattle
20 points for picking the Hawks pick. Bonus points for the correct position group- O Lineman: 3, D Lineman: 5, Safety: 7, QB: 9, Linebacker: 12, Corner: 13, TE: 14 RB: 15, WR: 17. You get either 20 for picking the exact player OR the position group Bonus points.
To give yourself two chances for points you can pick the player the Seahawks pick and a DIFFERENT position group.

Deadline is Noon PDT on draft day. I will then be copying and pasting all entries into one post and they will be locked.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 5:17 amNot sure on rankings. I play Dynasty Football, so I'm constantly updating my player rankings every few days. I listen to Schefter and other scouts right before the Draft. I'm sure mine will change between now and then.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 4:58 amWhat's a good site for up-to-date player rankings?
One of the sites I follow is on YouTube.

These guys are probably the best though.

The simulators are the only place I have seen player rankings but you can ask google.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 11:39 amThanks, though i don't think i'll have time to watch those videos. Is the ranking of players on the draft simulator up to date? I might just have to go off that.

Correct. No points for non Seahawk trades but the extra info is fine.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:40 pmOther than the Seahawks, the name of the team drafting at a particular position is irrelevant, correct? This confirms your concerns. He is at 64 and falling. We already have one Drunk Driver on the team. I hope we pass on one that needs to get weighed on a slaughter house meat hook. Btw my cousins who grew up in George, WA on a Cattle Ranch had to get weighed that way. They were both over 350 lbs and would have crushed a bathroom scale purchased at the Wenatchee JC Pennys. lolSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 2:28 pmHe fits the profile of a 3-4 nose tackle. I don't have the time or energy to try to forecast trades, so not sure why I put the teams in there, since there is zero chance Seattle is the first trade of the first round. I think.
