2024 Wins over unders

Post by D-train » Mon Apr 29, 2024 4:35 pm

Hawks are currently at 7.5 lol

We won 9 games last season. How is this team possibly 2 wins Worse than last year's team???

Coaching staff 2024>>>>>2023
QB = QB
RB = RB
WR = WR
O line 2024 > 2023
TE = TE

D Line 2024 >>> 2023
Edge > Edge (Getting Nwosu back is the advantage.)
LBs 2024 >> 2023
CBs = CBs
Safties 2024>>>2023

East Coast Liberal Bias.

I think we will go 10-7, and maybe one better.

This is what being a Homer is all about.

If you want to place a bet, I am all in on the OVER. I would go $1k

Plenty of reason to think this team could struggle. First time Head Coach. First time D-Coordinator. O-Coordinator who has never been in the NFL and was coaching at Fresno State 2 years ago. QB that took a step back last year and is aging. Injury concerns at running back. No clear answer at Center. Health issues at Right tackle. Not much depth as far as pass rushers go. Big Question marks at LB and Safety. Worries about last years regression of Woolin. I think this team could easily finish below .500.

Sure I could see 8-9 but I would still win $1k. I would put 7 wins at less than a 10% chance. My range is 8-11 wins.

I agree with those comparisons except for O line and LBs. Olu and Haynes will hopefully become better players than Brown and Lewis, but they will need some time. And they don't have a tackling machine like Wagner in the backfield with those guys they signed. Better pass defenders but worse run stoppers.

Yeah, I feel pretty good about winning more than 7.

MM has never been a HC bet you can bet your ass he learned how to be one from studying the Harbaugh boys. Grubb has never been in the NFL but ran a pro style offense almost to perfection with the only flaw in my mind is it would a little to run heavy given his elite passing game weapons. But that made it more like the NFL not less. MM is the DC as well for the most part. Huge upgrade over PC, Shane and Hurrt so Bad imo.

MacDonald will have his roster set and his schemes implemented, but my gut tells me that they will likely struggle out of the gate. There will be a transition period, but they'll figure it out.
