I still can't believe there are more than Zero Hawk fans that STILL want to bring Adams back.

What a great way to kick off a new era of physical smash mouth football. Bring back a head case that fights with rando reporters online, was the worst defender on a terrible defense and no other team wants him.

I think we can go 14-3 in the regular season.

Pffttt!

17-0 in the reg season and win every playoff game and the Super Bowl.👍
They will however lose all 3 preseason games :(

Do you think signing him the first time was more a PC or Schneider pursuit? I've got to think Pete. It's still weird to me how a defense-first guy like Pete produced such disasters on D recently. Did the game just pass by his dinosaur rah-rah ass? Anyway, I'm really glad we made the switch this year. I'm sick of getting bungholed by the Niners and Lambs.

LOL. I'm in! If that happens, my two modest bets at Angel of the Winds Casino will pay out $4600, and I'm thinking road trip to some decent golf courses and dive bars, toga parties and banging coeds.

I'll be in Seattle in mid-September, so I'm going to get tickets for the Doltphin game. Man, that one's going to be a real challenge for our new-look defense, especially if the weather is nice.

What a great early-season home game to hit. A very serious test of about a zillion things on D. Playoff atmosphere in Week 3. Never forget 1983 lol, that was some fun shit!

I think the Adams acquisition was totally Pete. And as Michael stated, once Adams arrived in SEA, Pete didn't know to use his shiny new toy.

Interesting article regarding Carroll's misuse of Adams.

Well if you buy this then it was more than just PC wanting him. If it was only Pete that wanted him then how does JS debate how to use him. The whole thing doesn't really fly for me, thinking it's too simplistic. Remember the contract drama. The big issue was whether to pay adams as a linebacker or safety. Adams wanted LB money. So JS didn't want to give him LB money but he wanted to play him at LB, okay
. There were numbers and rumors swirling that Adams was seeking around $20 million per year, which would have matched what Jalen Ramsey was given as the Los Angeles Rams traded multiple first-round picks for the star cornerback, but this new deal still gives Adams that boost over the top of the safety market while keeping him below the $18 million average of Bobby Wagner as well as the top of the linebacker market featuring recent deals for Fred Warner and Darius Leonard.
