So he had a 4.6 40 and a 89.5 PFF rating. Good to know!

Football IQ > speed (especially when you are the QB of the defense)
4th in the country in Tackles per game = Football IQ

Just noticed #1 in Solo Tackles. Not close either.

He can tackle
"I told you, he makes tackles. You didn’t want to believe me," Macdonald smiled. "But, very pleased with the tackles. Time to step it to the next level communication wise, blitz, coverage, play recognition. It's almost like, ‘Hey, man, you’re not a rookie anymore.’ You’ve got to grow up fast. You’ve got to be ready to go if your numbers called. So, ‘Hey, let's go man.’ Let's not be settled with making tackles during preseason."

Reading between the lines, it doesn't sound like Macdonald is very confident about Baker being ready for the Denver Broncos. That could be one reason why the team has given so much playing time to rookie linebacker Tyrice Knight these last couple of weeks.

If Baker is indeed not ready to go Week 1, Knight will be starting in his place at weakside linebacker next to Tyrel Dodson
Kinda interesting in terms of Mcdonald telling Knight to hurry up and get ready

Apparently he's saying that to Haynes and Bradford as well.
