To me? The way he bitched and moaned at the end? RW is like the girlfriend that cheated on you…you kind of forget the good times. Bennett and Sherman are the same, Earl too.

Just like I pretty much quit hating Brady and Belichick after Brady left and the Patriots started sucking, I dropped
my rooting for RW to fail after he did fail and we got those good draft picks. I feel like some of the Sehawks' legacy
is tied up in RW's legacy. I was an RW fan and apologist for most of his time as a Seahawk. If he gets beat out by
Justin Fields as the starter, on what is probably his last chance, would be a sad day for RW and pretty much the end.

To be clear, I want RW to take the Steelers to the SB because it will be the broncos paying him to do it. And after giving Payton that huge contract to figure out how to fix him.

That's one thing about the Payton deal, he never tried did he?

They might have been hoping Payton would fix RW, thus fixing their fuck up, but I don't think Payton ever
bought in on RW and when it was obvious he had inherited a worse shit show than he originally anticipated,
he couldn't wait to get RW out of there. So, yeah, he never really tried.
Personally, I think the Broncos had a better shot of getting back to relevant with RW. But again, I'm a fan.

His first preseason action, maybe it wasnt all about the play calling

The Steelers had four punts and a missed field goal on Wilson's five drives on Saturday against the Buffalo Bills. Justin Fields took over right before the two-minute warning of the first half. Wilson finished 8-of-10 for 47 yards, and a lot of those yards came on three third-down passes that were well short of first downs. It wasn't a pretty outing.

Might be all over but the crying for him. I wonder if he still makes the HOF?

It could be he's done. It happens.
I always felt the magic was when he was a duel threat. People back then wondered what RW would be like
if the legs left him. Maybe the answer is "retired".
RW is 35. Geno is close to 34.
