Re: Another worthless Harris
Surely he was worth more than that. He was competing for a starting job here before they signed Williams. But, whatever. Maybe Oluwatimi is that bad.
Re: Another worthless Harris
Difference between our 7th rounder and the Browns 6th rounder was 12.8 points. #1 overall pick is worth 3000 points so Harris is valued at 1/234th of a 1st overall pick.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2024 3:04 amSurely he was worth more than that. If they were going to cut him for waivers and maybe practice squad with the Williams signing, the Olu Project and another center kicking around somewhere in the org, this looks like a friendly and he goes back to Cleveland. Kind of a measure of respect by the Hawks to not fuck him around through all that.
Lol, not funny but if Williams blows out his third knee or another groin in Week 2 and all we have is Olu and the Virgin Mary, that would be some kind of a Doom Pisser we can bitch about.

They signed another UDFA center from a FCS school, Jalen Sundell. Assume he will be on the practice squadron.

CBS sports grade
Seahawks: B+
Give Seattle credit for getting something for Harris instead of simply releasing him. Harris recently became expendable after Seattle signed veteran Connor Williams. Based on their decision to trade Harris, it's clear that Seattle believes that Williams' recent injury history is behind him. Seattle also has backup Olu Oluwatimi in the event that Williams has any injury setbacks.

Kinda my feeling, offensive line is going to be critical
I think, mirroring the rest of the football team, there's some really great plays and there's some plays that we need to chase. But our offensive line, to a high degree, is going to drive our football team and we expect great things out of them," Macdonald said post-practice on Monday. "There's a high standard to play here offensive line-wise, but there's a lot of good stuff on tape. But I think we need to be more consistent, especially with our targeting in some of the run schemes, and I think we need to give our quarterback some more time in some of those critical pass situations."
