Collier and Dallas probably kill us
According to Pro Football Focus, Collier leads the Cardinals in pressures with 21 and hurries with 16, having played the most snaps of any defensive lineman for an Arizona team that has won four in a row and is 6-4 overall, the only team in the NFC West with a winning record.
“He’s playing hard out there, he’s getting after it,” Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith said this week of Collier. “He’s the same guy he was here. Just a hard worker and a guy who’s going to give maximum effort, and he’s going to do whatever it takes. I know it’s going to mean a lot for him to play against us.”
DeeJay Dallas, a reserve running back and special-teamer for Seattle the previous four years, holds the same role for Arizona. He leads the team in kickoff returns with 13 for 399 yards and a touchdown.
So why did Collier suck here?

"It just didn't fit for me, man," Collier said. "It wasn't my type of system, my type of place. I tried my best to make it work. Sometimes places don't work out. On to the next one, and I feel I have made a home here, and I feel like I will prove over the next couple of weeks I am worthy of the first-round pick I was a few years ago."
I tend to think injuries can have a lot to do with it but its not brought up...Jonathan Gannon is a hot shot

Some guys are just good position coaches and not very good coordinators. I don't understand the notion that if they succeed at the former they need to be promoted to a higher position, or that you have to have been successful as a position coach in order to be a coordinator.

It's like the "Peter principle" right? The idea came from research on larger organizations with multiple layers of responsibility. You get promoted for doing a good job, and then get promoted again for doing a good job, etc. But the ultimate situation is that you hit your limit, i.e., the level at which you don't do a good job. It seems reasonable that some people could be a good coordinator but not a good head coach, or a good position coach but not a good coordinator. It's hard to say "no I don't want a promotion" and turn down increased salary and prestige.

I think the Niners lose this week so it would be nice to get it done against the Cards.
