Whiners outgained the Boars 320 - 4 in the first half. The Boars will get over 100 yards in garbage time offense though so our minus-7 record in 1979 will stay intact. Frankly, it'll probably stay intact forever, it's almost impossible to hold a team to under 100 yards nowadays.

You gain six on 1st down. You know you aren't going to get the first down running on 2nd down. Why not give yourself a two chances to get a 1st down with two short passes???
