Regarding Lockett -
He's been my favorite Seahawk for a long time. He is the #2 best Seahawk receiver of all time.
At this point in his career, is he not getting open like he used to, or is Geno and Grubb not looking for him
because they feel DK and JSN are better options? I'm not butt hurt about it, but it seems unlikely to me
that a guy that has always excelled at getting open is no longer open.
As far as his future after this year, I can't tell if Tyler wants one more big payday or not. It's consensus that the
Seahawks won't be paying him and will likely cut him instead of paying. Which doesn't preclude them from
re-signing him at a much lesser contract, if Tyler is willing.

As to if Lockett is instead looking to retire soon anyway, for a long time I've felt he has a bad back or something.
Watch him when the play is stopped. He moves and postures like a person with a bad back. He's been avoiding hits,
when there's no logical reason to take one, for quite a few years now. If he does decide to play for another team to
get another decent contract, I predict it would be with the Steelers to reunite with RW.

You made a number of good points on this one. Great post!

Lockett without a catch in the Arizona game, that hadn't happened since 2019

Very surprising for T-LOCK- Just could not come up with that endzone snag that happened right in front of us...

If only cap space equals championships...

potentially it could help, if used wisely. Like finally sign a high-priced Guard for once? Lord knows we've seen what the cheap ones are worth.

I'm still in denial.
