FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

Thanks, saved me the trouble of posting that very thing. I didn't realize during the game that De’Vondre Campbell had quit on his team. That's disgusting. What a prick.

Guess we all know that if you are looking for help from another team in sports to get to the playoffs, you are usually shit out of luck. I think the NFL Gods have ordained that we come down to the last week of the season and have to beat the goddam fucking POS Rams whose guts I fucking hate in LA for the NFC West title.

Giants have lost 8 in a row since the beat us in Seattle. they are 1-11 vs. the rest of the NFL.
It's just baffling that the Gnats were firing on all cylinders against us and look like dogshit against everyone else. It happens, I guess. As bad as the Haguars are they've had two games where they kept the opponent out of the end zone, one of them being the Viqueens.

There's a game-winning drive in every game. Unless there's some sort of BS definition of what is and isn't a game-winning drive. We all watch Geno every week. He might get it done, he might not. Lately, he hasn't cost us.
No telling about this Sunday.
When he cost us though, it was big. That Rams loss is looming very large right now. As well as having no clue how to play football when the Giants came to town.

2 picks in the loss to the Niners, which looks far less excusable now than it used to, and 3 picks in an OT loss to the Rams? You can't turn it over five times as a QB in any two games, but two games in Division? We could have put this division away with better QB play. Imagine being undefeated in the Division right now, owning a 2 or 3 game lead on the Rams, and having 10 or 11 Wins?
Sure, if they had a better QB they could have had more wins. But isn't it also true that a better offensive line would have generated more wins? How much of it is entirely on Geno and how much is the synergy of the entire team? What just happened, the team in general played well, particularly the offensive line and Geno had zero turnovers.

For me it's the cost involved, and the risk. Is finding another QB the primary issue to deal with now? Whats it going to cost and what are the odds of it working? Look at the 49ers, they have purdy as a gift from God, after wasting how much drafting that stiff? And how about the Broncos, wasn't that the thinking that drove them to trade for RW? Geno is a top third QB isn't he? What are you willing to gamble trying to improve on that?
Ironic comparing Goff and Stafford right now. At the time of the trade it was assumed the Lions were giving but but now Goff is the QB on the best team in Football. I really hope that the Lions make the SB which will make the M's never making the WS look even worse. That would leave them at the bottom of the outhouse along with the Browns and Clippers.

Taking sacks instead of forcing throws, in BOTH of those situations against the Rams, results in points. In a game we lost in OT. I believe one of the picks was on first or second down. Sorry, the O Line wasn't great, but Geno had many WTF moments during the Rams and 49er losses. Turnovers kill you, turnovers in the Red Zone? Hell, I am pretty sure they were both inside the ten yard line.

Those are on Geno. Poor decisions resulted in the Rams giving up no points, on TWO trips inside the ten. In a game we lost in OT. Yes, team sport, but Geno blew both of those games. The Giants game? I still blame the NFL for having someone play 3 games in 11 days. Brutal.

Agreed. Win as a team, lose as a team. And lots of teams get burned at the QB position. Might make more sense to give Howell an in-house shot. That said, they obviously believe that Geno is their best option right now.
They've won four in a row off the Bye and are in first in the Division. I'd say it's hard to argue that Geno is the man on this team right now. Not sure he will be next year, or if they will be willing to pay what someone is willing to pay him.

Based on the accuracy and the fact he is pretty fast when he runs I would rank him around 10th best QB in football.
I think he unfortunately has a large degree of anti-clutch. Kinda, the reverse Mahomes gene. If you could combine the physical body of Gino with the pocket sense of Russ you would have a top 5 QB.
And that's the conundrum... trying to get all the tangibles in one guy. Nearly impossible. We've all seen it... the guy who can throw bombs but can't avoid the turnovers. The guy who can scramble but can't throw. The guy with mad skills but can't read a defense. The guy who makes things happen all on his own, and the 'system' guy who needs all the pieces around him.

10th best in the NFL means there are 22 starters behind him who are worse. So not that bad, really.

Can Geno make better decisions? Sure. But everyone makes mistakes. Difficult to find a guy who doesn't.
