Could be interesting to see how things go with Pete and his staff in Las Vegas
The Raiders head coach brings in a coaching staff with a mixture of experience and youth on both sides of the ball. The additions of Kelly and Philbin add a veteran coaching presence to the offensive side of the ball. N. Carroll was a factor in the progression of Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, which adds some intrigue to the quarterback room.

Woods is also a key addition to the defensive coaching staff due to his experience as defensive coordinator at other destinations while McMahon’s return as special teams coordinator provides a semblance of continuity and familiarity within the staff.

I don't think I have ever been less interested in Pete Carroll than I am right now. It mattered more to me when he was around Husky football than it does now. The Raiders are basically pergatory. I guess there is some interest there....if Mr Sunshine, the epitome of players coach, can not only turn around the Raiders, but do it while they are located in the City of Sin!

I feel the same way. I'm more concerned with the 6 coaches, assistants and specialists we have in SEA who are going to 'fix' the offense.

Yea, 'funny'. As in odd. Or strange. Or perhaps even ridiculous.

Meanwhile, Grubb is happily reunited with DeBoer, wondering why it now takes this many dudes to fix a run game he was supposed to fix in year one as an NFL OC.

“Put your money where your mouth is,” Huard said approvingly of the Seahawks’ coaching additions. “If you say you wanna have a good run game, then you’re gonna hire an O-line coach, and you’re gonna hire an O-line assistant coach, and then you’re gonna hire a run game specialist and then a run game (coordinator).”
They've all coached together in the past, and stints with Kyle shanahan
“They all speak the same language,” Huard said. “There’s not gonna be, ‘Hey, let’s spend a month here so you can learn my terminology.’ … These guys all know this book really well. They know this game plan very well. They know the intricacies and the details of it.”

See? It’s not because JS sucks and building an O Line. It’s all because we didn’t have six assistant coaches devoted to helping the OC with the run game! Duh!

Makes me wonder just how smart Tom Cable must have been. I mean, he was the Run Coordinator all by himself, and we had a highly successful run game!

Yeah, I've always felt cable was pretty good, and should get some credit for that run game. You know Marshawn loves him some cable. He would politic for cable getting another HC gig. I think Marshawn came off as a rebel but he was coachable, him and cable had a good relationship. Do the jets trade him if they understand what's he capable of? Cable tapped into it

Anyway, what I see is them installing this new offense and willing to invest in it. Could argue kubiak is getting a lot more support than they gave Grubb

. Cable praised Lynch as "one of the smartest football players I've ever known".
